7.Which files are allowed to be uploaded?
All files you are allowed to be uploaded, which do not violate our terms of service or the laws of concerned countries. This means that files violating copyrights, or containing pornography, are forbidden and will be removed as soon as we notice. If you find such files on RayFile, we would be glad if you notified us.
8.What is the maximum storage size I can upload?
There is no limit! And even better: keep your files have well healthy index.
9.Can I delete my uploaded files?
Sure you can! If you uploaded a file with your e-mail address and logged on, you will be able to view and delete your files from within your personal file manager My Upload. On the other hand, if your file is in unhealthy index, it will be deleted automatically by system with e-mail notice.
10.What is "Account Healthy Index"?
Members of RayFile are increasing sharply, and at this moment, data storage is becoming less and less. So what should we do? How can we balance Server and Storage? Account Healthy Index! It is defined to distinguish which kinds of file should be deleted by system automatically.
11.How to calculate Account Healthy Index?
Account Healthy Index = Storage of your files (count by MB) / Daily number of Each IP who access your files
Attention: Each File is counted with download counter independently. For example, If you have 10 files, each size is 100MB, both IPs 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 downloaded your files at the same day, as a result of, two IPs are separated statistic to your each file, so finally your account have 20 IPs be counted. Besides that, another condition you have to attention too, your account healthy index is not updated by real-time, it is calculated by one or two days.
12.How can I protect my files in Healthy Index all the times?
100 is a division use to define and describe whether your file is healthy and safe, let's say, if your account healthy index100 and never ever drop to <100 during 5 days, it means your file will be deleted automatically by system. Certainly, you can follow below methods to keep your account index is always in HEALTHY position!

13.What is tag?

14.How can I modify my file tag and information?
Open My Upload and click a filetype icon, then you can modify your specific file description and tag.
15.Why my RaySource cannot run?
1st, please make sure your RaySource executable program is installed successfully.
2nd, or please check your firewall A, make sure you didn't block peer.exe, PeerAdapter.exe and RaySource.exe. If they are blocked, please add these three executable programs to authentic programs.
3rd, or you can re-install RaySource completely.
16.Why firewall always notices me "do you want to allow peer.exe to run?"
If your firewall always pop up message box about "do you want to allow peer.exe to run?", please allow it. At the same position, peer.exe, PeerAdapter.exe and RaySource.exe are three main executable programs to RaySource client, so please allow them run in your PC.
17.Why I cannot upload files?
If you are using RaySource Client, please make sure,
Your RaySource client is installed completely.
Your RaySource client version is not outdated, please install the latest version.
Your network is connected, and speed is natural, please check your network connection.
You didn't block RaySource software in Firewall security tools. Please go Q.15. and Q.16.
You are allowed to use P2P software by both server supporter and
Does Your DNS cannot resolve IP address? Please check DNS settings.
18.Why is my upload slow?
Depending on your connectivity to our server network, your upload speed may be limited and slower than what you expect. for improved upload speed please make sure other download/upload software is closed or idle.
19.Can I upload more than one file synchronously?
You are allowed open multiple upload windows to upload several files synchronously.
On the other hand, it is not allowed to upload several files at the same time in RaySource client. This feature is coming soon. Right now, you are allowing add several file into upload list, but upload them one by one manually.
20.I entered my e-mail address with my upload. Will I receive spam?
No, we will never disclose your e-mail address to any third parties.
21.Can I download more than one file synchronously?
You are allowed open multiple upload windows to upload several files synchronously.
On the other hand, Maximum 6 files allowed you download at the same time by using RaySource client.
22.I cannot open a downloaded file: I get asked for a password, a program to open the file with. Help!
Please ask the person you received the file link from for details about the file format, required passwords. We have no way of finding them out for you.
23.Why is my download slow?
Depending on packet roundtrip time and packet loss to our servers, your several downloads may be slow. This may also depend on the time of day, so trying again at a different time may solve your problem.
24.I had installed Raysource client, why RayFile webpage always notice me have to install?
If you got this problem, please follow the below steps,

If you are using IE browser, please check your IE security settings, or go to Q.15 and Q.16
If your problem is not belonging to above, you should try to re-install or update your RaySource client.
Or just open RaySource client manually, and copy an URL to New task in Raysource client, then download it.
